Developmental Intervention on CISA Compliance
The Provincial Government of Batangas, through the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO), continues its work to guide and strengthen the cooperatives in the province. This time it did so through the Developmental Intervention on CISA Compliance, held today, 29 October 2026, at the PCLEDO Conference Room in Batangas City.
The activity aimed to help cooperatives better understand and meet the requirements of CISA compliance, as part of strengthening their governance and operations.
BUPCC was represented by two of its officers, Mr. Albert Perculeza and Mr. Ramil Cueto, who took part in the session alongside cooperative leaders and staff from across Batangas.
What this means for BUPCC
As BUPCC prepares to offer loans to its members, credit information compliance is part of doing this properly. Taking part in this session helps the Cooperative in three ways:
- Built in from the start. Our officers now have a clearer understanding of what CISA compliance asks of a cooperative, so we can build it into our loan processes and records from day one rather than fixing it later.
- Care for members’ credit data. It supports how we collect, keep and handle our members’ credit information: correctly, accurately and responsibly.
- Stronger governance. It keeps our officers current on the regulatory expectations that come with serving a growing membership.
Thank you to PCLEDO and the Provincial Government of Batangas for this developmental support to the province’s cooperatives.
